Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, to include providing support to our managers and employees. Assisting in daily office needs and managing the department's general administrative activities, this individual will ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of the department.

Essential Job Functions:

Maintain executive calendar to coordinate work flow and meetings
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and firm information
Organize and schedule appointments
Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
Update and maintain department procedures
Book travel arrangements
Provide general support to employees in the department
Liaise with managers and staff to handle requests and queries.
Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including mail and faxes
Interact with clients, staff and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, copying, faxing, mailing, and filing
Create and modify documents such as reports, memos, and letters using word processing, spreadsheet, database and other presentation software such as MS Office and/or other programs
Provide support for assigned project-based work
Assist in coordinating department special events
Other duties as assigned

Ability to use logic and reasoning to understand, analyze, and evaluate situations and exercise good judgment to make appropriate decisions

Education & Experience:

College degree preferred
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ Years in an administrative support role is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience with Salesforce software or other CRM system
Experience with a variety of office equipment
Must have a valid driver s license and clean driving record
