Job title: Aircraft Supervisor Location: Salisbury
About the roleThe primary purpose of this Aircraft Supervisor position is to ensure that the CrowsNest Merlin aircraft/equipment maintenance and trials flying are carried out efficiently and to quality in accordance with regulatory and corporate procedures. The trials flying incorporates a phase of Flying then the aircraft is put in to a maintenance package of circa 8 weeks to clear maintenance for the next phase of Flight Trials activity. To do this, the Aircraft Supervisor will need advanced and specialised skills to carry out and lead the activities to be completed, solving problems of a routine nature, providing supervision proportional to the level of competence and experience of the technicians being supervised.
What do I need?
- You must have evidence of 6 months or more experience working on Merlin Helicopters either as a Technician or a supervisor.
- It is desirable but not essential that you have Human Factors experience.
Please note that all applicants must be eligible for SC clearance as a minimum.
What will I be doing?
- The Aircraft Supervisor will be working with integrity at all times, raising concerns immediately.
- You will have compliance with all relevant legislation, including HS&E.
- The Aircraft Supervisor will work in compliance with QinetiQ policies, procedures and manuals.
- You will be responsible for the completion of tasking within the scheduled time and at an appropriate quality.
- The Aircraft Supervisor will ensure that he/she has the appropriate tools and equipment to carry out assigned tasks.
