We are looking for a passionate, business focused Parts Supervisor to join our successful team. Construction Machine Paint Sprayer We are looking for a Construction Machine Paint Sprayer to ensure all MKL plant equipment is painted to a high standard prior to despatch. To repair / prep and paint any used equipment or customer machines when needed. Reporting to the Workshop Operations Manager this role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, has good attention to details, with experience in a similar role. What is the purpose of the role? Responsible for the cleaning of the equipment and general cleanliness & organisation of the spraying department. Efficient and timely completion of repairs. Preparing and painting construction machines, ensuring this is always completed to a high standard. Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and lead by example. Prepare the paint before use by using measuring equipment and understand the makeup of the paint to ensure that it is the correct type for the machinery. Ensure that the work area is free from all risks and hazards at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and others. During quiet painting periods supporting the PDI department in prepping machines for dispatch. What skills and behaviours are we looking for? Experience of working in a similar role Knowledge of prepping and painting vehicles/ plant equipment General IT skills Ability to work alone under pressure NVQ level qualification Good attention to details Experienced in mixing paints and applying multiple coats to achieve required finish Excellent verbal communication Positive attitude Counterbalance forklift truck certification - desirable Experience safely moving plant equipment - desirable Flexible outlook to working hours - desirable What we can offer you Competitive salary Pension scheme Up to 27 days holiday linked to service, plus Christmas shut down On the job training Death in service benefit Employee Assistance Programme (support)
