Criminal Solicitor - Court Duty Qualification Essential - £40k to £55k Circa - Central London An established firm of solicitors with offices set in the heart of London, are looking for a Criminal Solicitor to join their team. This boutique law firm pride themselves on delivering the highest quality of service that is tailored to meet the individual requirements of their clients. They have over 100 years experience, delivering an unrivalled service across their core areas, including private individuals, entrepreneurs, and companies through to global corporations. They are frequently sought out to assist with highly sensitive and complex cases involving emergency crisis intervention & media management across their varied and high-profile client base. They are looking for an ambitious Criminal Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE to join their dynamic team. Duty qualification is essential to the role although you will be required to look after both publicly funded and private client work. The firm has an unrevealed reputation in criminal law both nationally and internationally and engages in criminal defence, extradition, fraud, cybercrime, confiscation and asset recovery. SALARY ETC: £40k to £55k Circa (DOE) + benefits Permanent, Full-time (may consider part-time for the right person) Central London REQUIREMENTS: Must be a qualified solicitor of a minimum of 2 - 5 years PQE Passionate about criminal law Keen to attend court with experience in Extradition Competent, highly organised, accountable, and able to independently manage your own caseload (both Magistrates , Crown, and Higher Courts) with meticulous attention to detail Experienced in working for both publicly funded and private clients Able to demonstrate strong oratory and communication skills Experienced in working within a fast paced, expanding, and dynamic environment Able to develop positive relationships with clients and manage client expectations Effectively prioritise with an ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively Committed to the systemisation, overall growth of the department and ultimately the firm Commercially and financially aware including an ability to take responsibility for financial control of own client matters Marketing, networking, and business development skills Effective in generating new and repeat client referrals, inter-departmental cross referrals, and those within the firms trusted network Commercially minded, keen to attend networking & social events to promote the firm Rehearsed in the requirements under the CQS, SRA Accountancy Rules and Ani-Money Laundering & Bribery Regulations
