Rated as a Top Workplace in 2021 and 2022, we have an opportunity available for an Director of Information Technology to join our Information Technology department. This role will have the ability to work remotely and on-site in Indianapolis.

As the Director of Information Technology, you will be responsible for the day to day and strategic plans of Central s infrastructure, network, security, technical support, and data needs. This position will manage the infrastructure team, including system administrators, support technicians and 3rd party vendors. This role will lead companywide technology updates, across both hardware and software with assisting other departments with the onboarding of these updates.

What you will do:

Responsible for day-to-day communication, trouble shooting and leadership of the IT team.
Responsible for managing one to one meeting, performance reviews, goal setting, or any disciplinary/HR functions.
Administer and adhere to configuration standards for various Network components including switches, firewalls, wiring, call routing, dialing plans, voicemail, and auto attendants.
Provide day to day monitoring and execute support of the voice and data networks
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing
Perform maintenance activities to administer the network, including but not limited to, installation, configuration, and upgrades of equipment and analysis of performance.
Maintain and adhere to all standards set for systems on the build and configuration of Windows servers/Linux Servers, backup and storage procedures, log reporting, and system performance monitoring
Oversee day to day monitoring and support of the Microsoft Domains, Active Directory, and all Servers
Manage outside vendors time and scope of work for various projects
Report to management on progress of ongoing projects
Maintain Change Request orders in ticketing system with appropriate updates and status of projects

What we need:

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or Similar
MCSE, CCNA and/or RHCSA certifications
5+ years of technical leadership experience
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
Expertise in data center management and strategy (cloud/on-premise)
Expertise in computer networks, network administration and network installation - Cisco and Paloalto a plus
Expertise in system software strategy and maintenance across Microsoft and Linux (Red Hat 6+) operating systems
Expertise in security, disaster recovery and replication - Zerto and VEEAM application experienced preferred
