URGENT Document Controller needed in Hitchin, Hertfordshire! One of the largest Gas Distribution Companys is spanning over 131,000 kilometres of pipes. One of my Clients is appointed as the Construction Management Organisation to manage the planning and delivery for the team. They are looking for a Document Controller to work for them over the next three months. The Company is looking for three Document Controllers to join the CMO Operations teams. Locations are Hitchin, Peterborough or Marks Tey!! The ideal candidate would have strong IT and communication skills and experience with EDMS systems, Documentum 2, Interact Intranet (CosTeam), Business Collaborator and Information Exchange. This a Contracted role for 3 months! Paying up to £16.00 per hour umbrella. Benefits: Contracted opportunity Ability to grow and develop skills and experience within the company Recruiting for people to work close to home A friendly team Responsibilities: Provide support for the operational teams Audit work orders due for completion Ordering office supplies Make sure all META data is used and maintained Manage all incoming and outgoing documentation Editing and amending documents for accuracy and compliance of client procedures Creating reports and trackers on all communication of the project Providing regular training on EDMS systems to internal and external staff Drive and manage all documentation and the flow of information making sure deadlines are met through the project EDMS QA managing all documentation and communication Train the contract team in the correct use of the DMS The ideal candidate will have: Excellent communication skills Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel / Word Usage of Documentum 2, Business Collaborator 6.3 administrator, Information Exchange The ability to multitask and have high attention to detail Experience in the Construction IndustryIf this role is suited to what you are looking for do not hesitate to apply as we are looking for candidates immediately.
