Position Summary

Positions Pay Rang : $18.22-22.74, depending on experience

As a Driver Recruiter, you will be responsible for establishing relationships with new and existing drivers and Owner-Operators, This position works closely in a team environment with our field recruiters and managers to ensure an expedited and smooth process to fill open positions.

As part of the KAG Driver Recruiting Team your primary duties will include:

Full-cycle (app to onboarding) management of driver recruitment process for a designated region.
Regular monitor and review of safety- sensitive candidate applications in applicant tracking system.
Pre-screen prospective drivers to ensure qualifications for hire.
Work with driver and manager to schedule on-site interviews
Process offer paperwork and schedule background screens and physicals. Work with the candidates to collect regulatory documentation for DQ file.
Conduct employment verifications and schedule onboarding documentation to assemble electronic DQ file
Work with internal team members to establish training schedule and communicate training plan.
Update job requisitions in the ATS to populate the interactive map and a variety of job boards.
Demonstrate excellent customer service in communication supporting prospective and existing candidates and collaborating with other team members and field management to provide tools and a variety of recruitment data.
Attend weekly and monthly operations team calls to provide recruitment updates.


High School Diploma required; Degree preferred
Previous recruiting experience a plus!
1 or more years experience working in an office or call center environment
Organized problem-solver with strong people skills
Must be able to communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and through email
Ability to multitask and manage time/resources effectively
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Access
