The F-35 Lifecycle Product Support team is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to provide Process Engineering support in a growing, state of the art factory. This position will work on a split shift schedule Mon-Thurs in order to support our 2nd shift team and maintain continuity with the 1st shift team as well. Our area supports our customers with cutting edge, timely and cost effective support for the repair, retrofit, and upgrade of a variety of highly complex modules vital to mission success and safety of the warfighter. This position will have the unique opportunity to support all F35 configurations, work with a variety of state of the art test equipment, and engage with multiple technologies.

Focusing on product and process support of complex digital and RF circuits utilizing a variety of manufacturing technologies, you will play a key role in real-time problem resolution to reduce defects and processing time as the factory implements new capability, takes on work, and increases rate. As a core member of the F-35 Lifecycle Product Support Technical Operations Team, you will work closely with Process, Product and Test Engineers, assemblers, technicians, factory leadership, Supply Chain, Program Engineering and Operations Program Managers.

Interested candidates should exhibit sound judgment, initiative and self-motivation. Solid communication, teamwork and integration skills will be required to work with peers, assemblers, technicians, Operations and Program resources in Sustainment and across NH Production Build Factories. The ability to manage time effectively while dealing with a variety of issues in a dynamic environment will be key to the success of this individual.
Responsibilities include:
Provide real-time support to assemblers, inspectors and technicians
Supporting set up and validation of new test equipment
Working with program engineering to solve complex test failures
Actively contribute to cross functional teams on projects and initiatives, including turnaround time, defect reduction and prevention, and expanding Factory Capability
Disposition Non-conformances and perform work order alterations as needed to keep product moving in the factory
Data analysis and interpretation to provide input to leadership on trending issues
Create and/or revise manufacturing process instructions and procedures
Work with team mates to ensure continuity of support in key areas

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor s degree in engineering discipline
Previous experience directly supporting manual assembly of highly complex or precision product in a manufacturing environment
Experience with either complex digital circuits or RF circuits
Excellent communication, collaboration and problem solving skills
Demonstrate sound judgment and initiative - self-starter who can balance time between support duties and proactive project work in a fast paced environment

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Understanding of circuit card rework processes, complex electromechanical assembly, coatings, and adhesives.
Familiarity with National Instruments Test Stands
Experience with both digital and RF circuits.
Experience using Manufacturing Execution System software on a factory floor (Visual instructions and system job routers)
Experience creating process documents, training material and manufacturing instructions
Understanding of quality requirements, experience dispositioning nonconforming material.
Demonstrated success resolving a wide variety of problems in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
Experience with structured problem solving tools (8D, PFMEA, etc.)
