Flight Transport Nurse - DHART (DH Advanced Response Team)

Working at the direction of the DHART Program Director and Chief Flight Nurse, you will utilize your clinical skills to assess, plan, implement treatment and evaluate the care of critically ill and injured patients of all ages within the ground ambulance, aircraft or in the hospital setting.

Candidates must have the following education and experience:

Registered Nurse currently eligible for unrestricted licensure in the State of NH.
Minimum of 3 years full-time Critical Care Nursing experience.
Current certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Must be capable of meeting DHART mandatory physical requirements as verified by the DHMC Occupational Medicine Service during a pre-employment screening physical examination, and then yearly as required. Must meet crew weight standard (100kg or less, transport ready, in uniform).

Additional preferred qualifications/experience:

CFRN certification

NRP

Previous critical care transport experience

Public speaking experience

Requirements within the first 18 months of hire:

Successful completion of DHART Clinical orientation program prior to being assigned as a team member.

Within 3 months of hire, obtain and maintain New Hampshire and Vermont EMT licensure.

Within 6 months of hire, obtains and maintains current certification in: a trauma course (TPATC, TNATC, ATLS).

Within 18 months of hire, obtain and maintain CFRN certification.
