This is a fully home based Role Purpose: As a Personal Development Manager (Assessor) you will be responsible for ensuring a caseload of Apprenticeship learners achieve their Health and Social Care L2, 3, 4 and 5 as appropriate qualifications. You will do this through conducting progressive visits with every learner every month and supporting, motivating and encouraging them to achieve within the agreed timeframes. You will have a clear set of targets and will manage your own diary to help you achieve this. Key Responsibilities: • Actively manage a caseload of learners in line with operational and funding targets to achieve objectives • Take accountability of all elements of Apprenticeship Standard delivery Diploma, functional skills and assessment • Ensure internal and external quality standards are complied with at all times • Adhere to assessment principles and practices of TAQA and Awarding Organisation requirements • Take ownership of own personal development to ensure quality excellence • Contribute ideas and suggestions for quality and continuous improvement • Share best practice to improve team performance • Develop effective working relationships with colleagues, learners and employers Skills and experience required: • A passion for education, standards and quality • Excellent time management, planning and organising skills • Assertiveness and objection handling skills • Professional and approachable manner • Effective communication skills • IT Literate • Competent in Literacy and Numeracy • You will possess a Health and Social Care Qualification to Level 3 or higher or equivalent • Minimum of 2 years experience working in Health and Social Care Pre-Screen MUST HAVE S Non Negotiable Driving Licence and use of car and willing to travel within 40 miles with business use on insurance Broadband at home Qualified and certified at level 3,4or 5 with certificate available or obtainable 2 years or recent/current experience in HSC 2 years working at highest level they are qualified at (Level 5, 4 or 3) Working Hours Available Mon-Fri 9-5 with some element of flexibility Fully vaccinated and boosted (or planning to be) unless medically exempt Whilst this is under review it is a requirement, however if legislation changes so that people can work in HSC settings without vaccinations this will be reviewed Must be competent in Maths and English Paul Feldman is the National Skills Agency Data Protection Officer.
