Hire Desk Administrator Mansfield 5 days per week 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm £25,000 per annum Our client is the country s leading specialist in off-grid power solutions and hybrid power generators. Today, our client designs and manufactures a unique range of affordable, state-of-the-art Hussh Pods built for industry. You will have responsibility for receiving orders and requests for collection/contract termination (off-hires) and planning transport for deliveries and collections whilst ensuring that all opportunities to maximise the depot of Hussh Pods at Power Saving Solutions sales are attained. Please note the ideal candidate will have previous Hire Desk Administrator experience. Knowledge, skills and experience required A thorough working knowledge of how a hire desk works An understanding of fleet equipment A good knowledge of assets/products from a rental hire perspective Full driving licence Able to travel if required for attendance at training courses and other business-related activities Local knowledge of the area is not essential Key Competencies / Capabilities Self-starter and has experience of driving workloads independently Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels Ability to work under pressure to deliver challenging results and meet demanding targets Able to make smart and sound proactive decisions based on information, insights, and past experiences Comfortable working in a high volume fast paced business and able to assess and manage priorities Hands on, logical and pragmatic approach Creates a clear understanding of what needs to be achieved; sets the agenda and provides the necessary guidance Driven by excellence manages activities to ensure high standards are achieved in all areas Effectively identifies and manages risks and issues Able to build relationships and influence key stakeholders What will your role as a Hire Controller look like? Taking of orders, processing and following them through to completion Arranging delivery and collection of orders in accordance with the customer s requirements Liaising, where required, with other depot employees, customers, depots, workshops and sales teams Ensuring that all opportunities to maximise the depot and the group s sales to a customer are attained Ensuring that all products hired to customers are safe and have been properly tested in accordance with company procedures Processing all input to IT systems and paperwork relating to on-hires, off-hires and stock transfers, etc Developing and maintaining knowledge of the depot s equipment for hire/sale including basic knowledge of accessory, safety and test & run requirements Assisting in the completion of asset and stock counts when conducting additional ad hoc depot duties as may be designated by the management team Supporting and communicating effectively with the Power Saving Solutions team Maintaining knowledge of the group s equipment for hire/sale and activities Conducting additional ad hoc duties as may be required Following all company procedures and policies in the company handbook Ensuring all relevant training has been attended What s next?
