*What does a HR Administrator do?*
_Key Responsibilities: _
- Onboarding new recruits; carrying on pre-employment checks and helping with onboarding process, ensuring the application form is correctly filled out, sending offer letters, obtaining relevant ID documents to submit enhanced DBS checks, obtaining satisfactory references, receiving the new starter pack and HMRC form for payroll purposes prior to the new starter commencing employment.
- Working closely within our team to ensure transparency, consistency and efficiency across the department.
- Building relationships within the team, Head Office and the Homes, whilst providing excellent customer service to our candidates.
- Maintaining in-house spreadsheets, including Right to Work, DBS, Recruitment Tracker, Bonus Trackers, Staff List and the Apprenticeship spreadsheet, to ensure all new starters are compliant to commence employment and this is executed in a timely manner.
- Collate relevant data for monthly Recruitment/HR meetings.
- Ad hoc recruitment and HR projects
- Ad-hoc project work and reporting as requested by the HR Manager.
- Organise and categorise the joint HR Mailbox to ensure all emails are dealt with proactively and in a professional manner relating to the tasks above.

- General photocopying and filing as required
- Providing any general admin assistance required by the homes
- Generally covering the workload of other staff where necessary at holiday times and other absences. Taking minutes for disciplinary hearings as and when required.
- Conduct all work with sensitivity and confidentiality.
- To answer phone calls, take messages and/or guide to the correct person.
