JOB ROLE : HR Advisor REPORTING TO : Director of Finance and HR JOB TYPE : Permanent HOURS : 9:00 -17.00 SALARY : Negotiable based on experience LOCATION : Harrow PURPOSE OF THE ROLE You will be involved in all ER related issues, recruitment and selection campaigns, employment law, learning and talent development, compliance and other HR related duties when required. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS & DUTIES Manage the review, development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, in line with the care /Education industry. Support managers in workforce planning, making recommendations as appropriate to enhance team performance and efficiency. Participating in payroll activities, ensuring accurate administration and processing of over 100+ employees. Responsible for ensuring the company is compliant within HR. Updating all employee information and handbook as required by UK law and relaying this information to the director and managers within the company. Organize and support recruitment campaigns. Develop and maintain the recruitment life cycle within Seva Care Group. Supporting all managers with employee relation issues when required. Manage the development of the current HRIS. Provided a business focused HR centre to the company, providing support, advice and guidance on all people related issues. Develop HR people strategies in line within the company s strategic direction and corporate objectives. Manager and facilitate the performance management, performance reviews and pay review process. Coach and assist line managers to understand and effectively implement HR best practices. Manage employee issues that may arise from organization restructure and change when required. Identify, lead and participate in HR related projects and initiatives. QUALITIES AND SKILLS CIPD qualified. 5 year s previous experience working in a HR advisor/generalist role. Organisational and administrative skills. HR experience within Education /Care industry. Previous managerial experience. Proven work experience as an HR advisor, HR consultant or similar role Ability to advise and work with senior members of staff Hands-on experience with IT programmes and HR systems Knowledge of employment legislation Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business. Ability to design clear and fair company policies. Effective networking and negotiation skills Ability to manage and priorities a diverse workload and to meet time specific deadlines and targets. Driven and determined. Experience of managing complex situations. Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
