You + The Challenge You're a knowledgeable IT Support Engineer and have developed some great skills having worked in the technology industry, providing technical support. This means you're pretty caught up when it comes to taking ownership of tickets allocated to you and managing them through resolution or escalation. You're all about being able to ensure SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met and so troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting a wide range of systems is just as important to you as answering queries and complaints, reporting client facing risks and customer feedback. Just as a reminder, you're not alone here, you've got a team by your side (literally, too!) This means that you reside in the UK, are a team player open to collaboration remotely but mostly onsite, ensuring personal and team objectives are achieved and, will provide further guidance when needed - is this the kind of growth and activity you're looking for? These are some of your areas of expertise and where you will be able to showcase your IT skills: Mac OS with an Active Directory domain Mac OS 10.x - OS 12 both in the GUI and command line. IOS (backup, migration enrolment to Microsoft Intune) Application Shell scripting (Bash) languages Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, MS Office for Mac, font management with tools such as Universal Type server Egnyte, Microsoft SharePoint and other file collaboration tools VPN (FortiClient, SSL VMware, built-in VPN on OS etc). DNS, DHCP & Proxy servers. In addition to being exceptionally skilled analytically and technically, you also want to learn and are willing to gain relevant qualifications and accreditation's, ultimately, you'll be developing your IT skills and we'll be happy to help you achieve this. You can count on us to respond! Requirements Experience of working with Mac management and support in the corporate offices. Extensive experience of supporting Mac OS within an Active Directory domain. An excellent understanding of Mac OS 10.x - OS 12 both in the GUI and command line. An excellent understanding of IOS (backup, migration enrolment to Microsoft Intune) Application troubleshooting. Good proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) languages. A detailed knowledge in supporting, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, MS Office for Mac, font management with tools such as Universal Type server. A detailed knowledge working with Egnyte, Microsoft SharePoint and other file collaboration tools. A detailed knowledge of troubleshooting and configuration of VPN (FortiClient, SSL VMware, built-in VPN on OS etc). An excellent understanding on how to enrol mac workstations and IOS devices to Microsoft Intune. Has previously worked with desktop anti-virus and encryption products, such as Bitdefender Sophos AV / Safeguard and FileVault. A good understanding of networking: DNS, DHCP & Proxy servers. Apple Certified Support Professional certification would be advantageous. Apple Certified Technical Coordinator qualification or other relevant Apple certifications would be advantageous, as would experience/knowledge of Linux. A basic understanding and experienced working knowledge of JAMF Software's Casper (Mac management, MCX/configuration profiles and application packaging)
