The Role We have an exciting opportunity to join our Jewson Partnership Solutions team based in Normanton Wakefield. This role is a full time, with social working hours; Monday - Friday 07:30 - 17:00 What we are looking for: Excellent ability to problem solve and thinking outside of the box An Excellent communicator confident in delivering Face to face, Telephone, and email communications Exceptional Customer service is key Ability to multitask and prioritize your workload Resilience and a can-do attitude What will I be doing? As a Customer Service Advisor, you will have one of the most important roles within the branch network. You will regularly be the first and last point of contact for customers visiting the branch, so you play a huge part in delivering a fantastic customer experience as well as promoting and maximising sales. To support the team, you will; Welcome operatives to the stores and take an active interest in their projects Get to know our varied product lines electrical, gas, building, plumbing lines and training to increase product knowledge so you can offer advice and help to our customer in partnership, in line with our Jewson Values Picking daily orders for operatives, loading, and unloading stock using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided) Multi drop delivery experience and a valid driving licence be advantages Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products Maintain accurate stock levels, support stock management procedures and stock checks Previous warehouse experience and general housekeeping. ensuring stock is checked, handled, and stored correctly, satisfying customer orders by carrying out goods-received and general warehouse duties Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, serve on counter, answer phones to support the branch team, as and when required Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possibleDue to the nature of our business, we evolve and develop continually.
