This is your opportunity to join Babcock as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer. This is a customer facing and fast paced role where you will be responsible for the delivery of light aircraft availability for training and air experience.
Who we are looking for?
We're looking for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer who is able to work as part of a dynamic, experienced and multi-disciplined team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is technically minded, enjoys the challenge of working in a fast paced and busy engineering environment and is able to apply their knowledge safely and in line with best practice and regulation.
What will you be doing?
Your main duties will include:
Provide a CRS signature to release aircraft after repair or maintenance.
Supervise engineering and Flight Line activity.
Undertake scheduled and corrective maintenance of Aircraft to ensure airworthiness is maintained and meet customer requirements.
To complete all documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedures.
Support other LAFT sites as required and be available for detachments in support of Camps.
Maintain/monitor RAL operations to ensure accuracy of input and compliance with procedures.
The experience you'll bring
Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
EASA Part 66, B1.2 license.
Supervisory experience in a Civil/Military Aviation environment.
Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.
Driving Licence.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
