*About this role*
With a multi million pound communications roadmap it is key we ensure all our spend is delivering value back to the business on both brand and commercial targets. This role looks across all the EE Brand and Demand Generation marketing activities, providing a constant, accurate and insightful view on the performance of our campaigns. Working closely with the media team, Essence and Saatchi you will make recommendations to ensure our campaign plans and executions are constantly optimised to deliver the greatest return on marketing investment. This role is a crucial integration point between the Communications department and the wider business including trading, propositions and planning teams. Working closely with the Planning and Propositions team, you'll take the lead on planning which campaigns we support, utilising the data available to make informed decisions to maximise ROI for our activity.

*You'll have the following responsibilities*

* Monitor both day-to-day and trends in demand generation campaign performance responsible for reporting both within the team and with key internal stakeholders and external agencies. Make performance recommendations based on actionable insight.
* Deliver measurable efficiencies in the demand generation marketing plan
* Monitor Brand activity and movements in Brand health, identifying trends and actionable recommendations for the Comms teams
* Develop & grow relationships with the propositions, trading team and sales channels
* Key point of contact for the Media team, Saatchi and Essence.
* Always ensuring a media and campaign neutrality to make the best decisions for short and mid term ROI.
* Quarterly planning and briefing of agencies.
* Quarterly forecasting of traffic and sales against media plans.

*You'll have the following skills & experience*

* Substantial knowledge and broad experience in marketing communications.
* Understanding and experience of optimising and measurement methods (brand tracking, media performance, econometrics) or performance and traditional marketing channels.
* Great analytical skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to translate complex data insight and reporting into easily digestible information to both senior and less experienced stakeholders
* Bold and confident thinking, challenging the status quo where appropriate.
* A confident and charismatic speaker who can connect and build trust with stakeholders quickly and effectively.
* Demonstrable professionalism with a proven ability to operate in a complex, fast paced matrixed business environment.
* Patience and experience of navigating large, complex organisational structures.
* Able to deal with ambiguity, identify resources to implement and determine pragmatic solutions.
* Experience in Brand and Marketing planning activity
* Experience reporting on or hands-on with Performance Marketing channels
