Purpose of the role: This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing genetics biotech start-up as their Marketing Manager. This role will be working closely with the CEO and VP of Sales in EMEA and the US to create and execute all marketing campaigns for the organisation. As the primary contact in the company for marketing, you will help broker strong relationships with the key-stakeholders, R&D and sales teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the execution of marketing programs/campaigns from start to finish, leveraging internal support and working closely with key stakeholders in the product, R&D, and sales teams. Evaluate marketing performance metrics to provide data-driven insights Lead the seamless integration of the website and CRM system Management of company social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter) and identify opportunities to drive traffic to the website and generate new business leads Manage the library of marketing material, including presentations, proposal templates, literature and brochures Generate and manage all email marketing, branding projects, and marketing campaigns. Develop a plan for close client engagement to elicit publications, endorsements and case studies Plan attendance at key scientific meetings, trade shows, conferences, and awards. Create and organise marketing materials for exhibitions including booth design, collateral and merchandise Prepare compelling marketing material and sales toolkit (blog posts, thought leadership articles, case studies, product brochures, explainer videos, etc.) Assign KPIs and measure the success of campaigns and content Requirements: Marketing Manager experience with a proven track record in delivering effective marketing strategies and campaigns that drive business growth 3+ years marketing/ content writing experience within Life Sciences A bachelor's degree in marketing, business and/or a science discipline. Significant experience in digital marketing, automation, data management, CRM system management, social media ads Robust ability to develop and execute marketing plans Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office Suite (PPT, Word, Excel, and more). Strong storytelling, creative thinker, and project management skills. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and illustrations. Knowledge and skills required for the role: Prior experience of working in a scientific organisation is preferred Strong background in process development and stakeholder management Experience in using Google Analytics, email marketing platforms and CRM systems Ability to integrate well into small organisations Good interpersonal skills and strong persuasion skills Comfortably communicating across all levels of seniority, both internally and externally Confident in working independently and managing workload proficiently
