Defines and delivers evolving continuous improvement projects to provide a standardised efficient P&C lifecycle services supporting key business objectives. Acts as a change-agent to develop and implement people operations processes improvements and working with data to identify insight and trends.
A self-starter who is able to manage multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver projects within defined timings and parameters

Job Advert

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the provision of high quality administrative and transactional processing support in the delivery of people lifecycle and people calendar events.

  • Deliver continuous improvement initiatives to provide a standardised efficient people lifecycle service.

  • Provide initiation, definition, delivery and closure of key operational and strategic programmes (such as Reward , DE &I, employee offer) and their constituent projects within agreed timescales, cost and quality.

  • Co-ordinate transformation activity across the Regions so that activity is adequately resourced and manageable for the field PR/ P&C team.

  • Management of Change specialist interfacing with Operations to ensure successful communication and implementation of people activity/interventions.

  • Ensure the people services are efficient and cost effective. All processes are clearly articulated, customer centric, sustainable and electronic where possible.

  • Oversee provision and tracking of retail-wide reporting data and management information in the format and quality required. Monitor Operations KPIs and trends, proposing interventions as appropriate.

  • Build strong relationship with customers including retail P&C team, Operations Leadership team, Line Managers and employees.

  • Ensures that people policies and processes are in line with all relevant legislation.

  • Owns business continuity plan for the retail people function in the UK.

  • Manages engagement and well being plans for retail teams

Job Requirement:

  • Considerable HR Generalist experience in frontline environment and a track record of delivery

  • Created and lead a project management plan (including stakeholder and communication plans) across all stages (Appraise, Select, Define & Execute).

  • Knowledge and application of problem solving techniques to understand and analyse the root cause of an issue and develop an intervention. (e.g. six sigma)

  • Knowledge of HR administration systems would be beneficial

  • Knowledge and understanding of key business strategy, costs and their drivers

  • Identification of substantial continuous improvement opportunities in HR process or policy.

  • Emotionally resilient

  • Comfortable in dealing with conflict management

  • Able to be responsive in a fast-paced, demanding operational environment and

  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization
