The Project Manager plays a critical role in planning, coordinating, and managing multiple medium to larger scale projects within the Business and Data Solutions department, for Care Design NY and Partner s Health Plan. These projects may involve process improvements, or business process re-engineering and strategic planning as required to meet the business needs. This individual will be involved in defining an overall strategy and approach, ensuring projects are completed successfully and reporting and presenting to the executive level on progress. Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role.

Oversee the implementation and lifecycle of medium to large scale CDNY & PHP projects including:
Project Ownership - Serve as the formal point of contact for all project inquiries.
Project Planning - Establish project team, key milestones, assign tasks, and ensure that the necessary progress is made toward milestones and drive accountability to team members.
Schedule Management - Establish a project schedule including kick-off meeting, requirements gathering sessions and communication sessions.
Resource Procurement - Establish the necessary resources, tools and technology involved in the project.
Project Scope Management - Ensure that solution features and functions align with the project objectives and requirements.
Solutions Management - Recommend strategies and procedures by identifying issues, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements.
Project Communication - Inform stakeholders of project progress.
Quality Validation - Provide assurance that test coverage is complete, and that quality is sufficient to move forward with the solution.
Budget Management - Track project ROI and take necessary action to address any significant variances.
Serve as a liaison between the business and the Business and Data Solutions department.
Risk Assessment - Identify potential issues related to the solution and project execution, and ensure they are addressed appropriately.
Issue Escalation - Present project challenges and problems to appropriate project stakeholders in a timely manner.
Work with the Project Manager Supervisor and Business and Data Solutions Team to assist in facilitating project governance.
Contribute to Business and Data Solutions efforts within the department by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
A four-year degree in an appropriate field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience, at least three years of which is in project management and/or relevant role.
Ability to lead, plan, and manage multiple complex projects and tight deadlines at one time.
Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Accomplished organizational and attention to detail skills.
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
Experience in working with technology, including software, business applications and data infrastructure.
Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Confluence, JIRA, Excel, and Word required.
Knowledge of Agile methodology.
Experience with healthcare software platforms.
