Are you a project manager with an engineering background looking for your next permanent position? We are now on the lookout for project managers to work in the Warrington area! The Client: Our client is a UK gas and energy engineering specialist who offer design, build and maintenance on critical national infrastructure for the UK gas asset owners. They also work within a range of water infrastructure services which cover all aspects of pipeline networks. Key Responsibilities: Managing the delivery of projects to a high standard by budgeting and programming, Ensuring that company objectives are met and the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the desired quality. Communicating effectively and professionally with all those associated with the project, as well as the wider community. Maintaining a close working relationship with all company departments to help maximise support for the project and for opportunities to share knowledge. Managing the project team, ensuring high levels of commitment, morale and motivation at all levels throughout the project. Experience / Qualifications: Commercial and Programming awareness experience with NEC form of contract. Must come from an engineering background. CSCS. SMSTS. Experience on similar works for / with National Grid, Cadent, Northern Gas Networks, Scotia Gas Networks would be hugely beneficial. Good communicator with leadership qualities. Site management safety certificate (SMSTS / IOSH Managing Safely). Full UK driving license with the willingness to travel on a weekly basis and lodging when required.
