QA Technician £25,000 Greater Manchester Ambient Food Job ref: 8255 The company This role is working for a successful, BRC AA Graded food manufacturer. The business produces high-quality food products and exceptional service to enable their food manufacturing customers to innovate and increase productivity without compromising on quality. About the QA Technician job The purpose of your role will be to support the QA Supervisor to ensure all products and services are supplied within agreed specifications, timescales, and technical/quality standards, and ensure legal compliance is achieved. Key tasks: Maintain accurate records of all quality paperwork. Ensure that all quality and food safety systems are operated throughout all departments with full documentation and that these meet the requirements within the BRC Global Food standard and legislation Ensure the QA Matrix tasks, and any other requested activities are completed within the designated timescales. Assist with customer complaints: identifying root causes and determining corrective actions required to prevent further occurrence. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers, external contacts, and colleagues. Prepare and assist in customer visits and site technical audits where necessary. Skills & experience required for the QA Technician job Proven experience of working in a food or beverage production Quality Assurance environment. Ideally be educated to degree level in Food Science. HACCP and Food Safety qualifications are highly preferred. PC literate. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Able to plan and organise work efficiently and effectively. More details The QA Technician job is based in Greater Manchester and is paying £25,000. The package includes 21 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. The working hours are 41.5 hours per week on a 3 week rotating pattern between the hours of 6 am and 10 pm, Monday to Friday.
