Core Group are pleased to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality assurance manager to join our clients team who are involved in the telecoms industry. Requirements A well-rounded background working in major project construction Several years' experience in construction essential Experienced in construction literature including drawings Good working knowledge of UK building regulations, codes of practice and quality standards Strong planning and management skills, be highly proficient in using technology with a fully rounded construction background to match. The candidate will have to be self-motivated, diligent with a keen focus for attention to detail and organisation Confident and analytical approach to problem solving Ability to lead and motivate team members Strong communication skills Ability and desire to facilitate change and work hard to implement procedures Hold a professional construction qualification Responsibilities To ensure that the company management system is being implemented on site. Working with structured company procedures and working specifications of the construction industry. Working with company procedures, standards, and specifications. Working with Senior management, site teams and Trade contractors to ensure that Construction Build Quality is maintained to a highest standard, within project program. Conducting internal audits and inspections to ensure successful implementation of the Company QMP Produce regular audit reports to Project Director to highlight areas where procedures are not being implemented, to ensure that the quality system is delivering a high degree of traceability and that the process adds to the quality of the product. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the site specific QMS digital workspace Making sure that all managers (and relevant people) are following the processes outlined, to ensure that the quality system is delivering a high degree of traceability and that the process adds to the quality of the product. Completing spot audits to monitor quality control on site from groundworks QA to final handover snags, including benchmarking and trend analysis of performance Analysis of statistics received from Aftercare on defects found following handover. Investigation into how these issues have occurred and ensuring procedures are in place to avoid reoccurrence of these. This role will involve reporting directly to Senior Management to update on all sitewide snagging & QA progress Leading the management of 3rd parties including Building Control, NHBC and Client clerk of works.
