Due to expansion and company investment, we are seeking a Quality Technician to work with a well-experienced manufacturing business in the Leighton Buzzard area. What's in it for you as Quality Technician: Salary circa £26,500 per annum (incl 16.5% shift allowance) + 5% bonus, rising to circa £28,462 after training In addition you have a matched pension of up to 10%, potential share options, overtime at a premium, as well as an extensive benefits program such as a cycle-to-work scheme, shopping discounts etc Days-based position Hours of work - Days shift, 7 am to 7 pm, Panama shift pattern (3 on 2 off 2 on 3 off etc) Training and career development, including quality systems, raw material testing, continuous improvement & health and safety training Job security and personal development within a market-leading, international manufacturing organisation The ability to work within a friendly and motivated team Key responsibilities of Quality Technician: The inspection and testing of raw materials and finished products - materials testing and product training will be provided The completion of handwritten results of testing activities, and updating of spreadsheets - Excel Raising corrective actions and issues to production staff Support Continual Improvement Initiatives Training of key processes to shop floor personnel Oversee specific areas in the testing of raw material and finished products - training will be provided Experience and Qualifications Required as Quality Technician: Experience in working within a manufacturing environment Good in both written & oral skills Ability to work on own initiative & train others Manage & influence others to achieve key objectives Previous experience of laboratory testing or quality assurance/quality inspection is desirable, but certainly not essential Computer Literate Please apply now please apply now
