They have a great opportunity for the right person to join their team in Digital Power Team as a SCADA/Controls Engineer The position is within a small, dedicated team performing advanced customer support for a unique site with a long history with Schneider Electric. The project Engineer works with the project manager to manage site activities, create project documentation, design system enhancements as well as getting involved in onsite engineering. What will you do? Support the PM by attending site as and when required to carry out but not limited to the following: -Conduct site Surveys -Commissioning (FAT, ITP & SAT) -Supervision of 3rd Party Contractors -Project meetings including QRM. -Database Rebuilds Provide technical support either via remotely or on-site Assist in project design works and documentation. Be part of an on-call support rota. Support the project manager with project documentation and design deliverables Coordinate activities of subcontractors when necessary. Prepare H&S documentation for their own site visits. Modify O&M Documentation where needed. Provide on-site training to customers as needed. Train other members of Digital Solutions team, when required. Suggest system and process improvements, modifications, etc; Work with the team to digitise site documentation. What qualifications will make you successful? You should have served an Electrical apprenticeship in a related subject and 2 years experience within an Electrical control environment. You will demonstrate excellent communications skills and have experience of working in a customer-focused environment. Minimum of two years relevant experience is required. Ability to act independently and to co-ordinate others if required. Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers. Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Some experience/but not essential in MS Visio and AutoCADMS Project/Open Project, MS Visio, AutoCadMS Project/Open Project, MS Visio, AutoCadMS Project/Open Project, MS Visio, AutoCad.
