Teacher of Chemistry
Up to £45,000 per annum (Pro-rata)
We are currently recruiting for a qualified and committed Teacher of Chemistry to teach GCSE and A-level chemistry, providing the highest teaching standards and be committed to working with young people. This can be either a full-time or part-time position with a highly-regarded school who are able to offer the successful candidate a fantastic career opportunity along with excellent benefits.

Stimulate and encourage pupils of all abilities to achieve their highest standard and gain maximum enjoyment in the subject.
Prepare and give lessons in line with the agreed syllabus and schemes of work.
Mark and assess pupils work in line with school and departmental requirements.
Identify and inform head of department of any pupil who may be experiencing difficulties
Attend mandatory training as required by the School.
Attend parent meetings and provide accurate reports of pupils progress.
The successful Teacher of Chemistry will:
Hold a relevant degree or teaching qualification
Have previous experience teaching chemistry at GCSE and/or A level
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Have excellent knowledge of KS3 & KS4 curriculum
Possess an invested interest in Science
