Job summary
As a senior technical leader, you are a pragmatic visionary that can translate business needs into technology solutions that scale both technically and operationally. You are responsible for driving high quality and enabling technical innovation and cloud services architectures. You will work with a team of top talents, manage evolving and complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other internal organizations. You will draw on customer feedback, usage and operational data, and your experience leading technology businesses to set and deliver on challenging goals to maintain effective security at scale without hindering our ability to reliably meet our customer promise.

Key job responsibilities
  • Program strategy and direction: Continually assess the needs of customers, market trends, competitive opportunities and threats in defining and evolving the Identity and Authentication product strategy in your area of product ownership. Define both long term strategy and short term plans to achieve the product vision and deliver business results. You will also contribute to the overall business and marketing strategy in your area of focus.
  • Requirements Definition: Develop comprehensive product plans, define the competitive arena, and establish the objectives, strategies, and actions required to achieve business goals. Produce high quality requirements documents and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver key capabilities. Write user stories to communicate customer needs in an Agile development environment. Work closely with Legal on regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partnering with Directors, VPs, partner teams, and stakeholders across the company to lead and influence new product initiatives.

A day in the life
You will be expected to be responsible for keeping up with timelines for deliverables and actively engaging with stakeholders and team members to define and prioritize the roadmap, partner with various teams and stakeholders, consult with the top engineers and designers at Amazon, define and report business metrics, discuss radical new approaches to building and operating at scale, the list goes on. Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience
  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
  • Experience managing projects within cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
1. Lead the strategy and vision for programs and initiatives to enable industry best Identity and Access Management capabilities.
2. Experience in delivering technology solutions and services in a high growth environment.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, solve problems, scope technical requirements and prioritize project work.
4. Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position.
5. Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive; demonstrated ability to have fun and inspire team members to enjoy work, be action-oriented and stretch their imagination.
6. Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
7. Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding our business and products and the competitive landscape.
