We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for Well Service Operatives. Location: LN2 2QU, Lincoln (requiered to travel to their East Midlands sites covering the Lincoln / Gainsborough area. Salary: £22,230 + £4,400 duty allowance Benefits: 7.5% pension, Discretionary bonus, life assurance, 3 level training increments - salary and award PA (dependents upon experience, and 25 days annual leave excluding bank holidays. Functional Role & Responsibilities: To demonstrate excellent safety awareness, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance are maintained or improved at all times. Conduct all well service activities in line with company health, safety, environmental and operating procedures. Operate well service rigs and equipment under supervision and / or within limits of competency. Conduct specific and routine well service duties under instruction from the Rig Forman, either supervised or within limits of competency. Assist in performing other duties as requested by the Well Service Supervisor. To operate special designed tools to handle rods and tubulars. Perform routine maintenance on the rig. Assemble and dismantle main component parts of surface pumping units. Carry out the loading/offloading and racking of tubular, rods and associated equipment. Remove and install all types of wellheads and associated equipment including making and breaking flow lines. Maintain good housekeeping standards with reference to tools, accommodation, vehicles and work area. Carry out rigging up duties as instructed by the Rig Foreman. Handling low toxic chemicals and additives during stimulation s and abandonment's. Adopt flexible working arrangements to ensure that the operation is adequately supported both during normal and outside of normal working hours. Carry out all activities as required by the IMS. Competencies: Carry out well service work safely and efficiently in accordance with agreed procedures and time frames Operatives are required to maintain a high standard of housekeeping, ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and operated according to protocols Work as a team and follow well service and site procedures as instructed by Well Service Supervisor. A Well Control Ticket is highly desirable. Experience in oil and gas operations is desirable. Maintenance skills and experience would be advantageous
